The beginning of September has been filled with lots of events at the Greg Norman Champions Golf Academy. Our new full time students and postgraduate players have begun to settle in with their coaches and daily routine. Our students come to us from several different countries: Mexico, Thailand, Colombia, Switzerland, Sweden, and Venezuela.

Due to the flooding effects from Hurricane Irma, the students had a few days off,  but are working daily in preparation for their first tournament of the season, the HJGT Myrtle Beach Junior Open , on September 23rd and 24th.

It was like Christmas morning at GNCGA today, as the students were surprised with their new bags for the 2017-2018 tournament season.  This is the first piece of gear that the students have had the opportunity to see, with their uniforms coming shortly. All decked out in black and neon green, the students will definitely be tough competition when it comes to best dressed.

Our Tour Players at GNCGA are preparing for upcoming tournaments as well.Three of our tour players:Jose Aguilar, Jose Narro and Alfredo Ruiz, are currently competing in the Greg Norman Academy Professional Golf Tour. The tour is on its fifth event, which will take place on September 22nd- 24th at El Campanario Country Club, in Queretaro, Mexico. The fourth event of the tour took place in Mayakoba on the 27th of August and the winner was Jose de Jesus Rodriguez.
