It was an astounding win by Sergio Garcia on Sunday for the 2017 Masters Tournament in Augusta, GA.

Can the Masters prove to be any more suspenseful?

Garcia finally obtained his first green jacket. He proved that challenging work and determination pays off every time. If you can’t get enough of The Masters, you should start heading down to North Myrtle Beach, SC for The Monday After the Masters, which is in our backyard on the Dye Course located in Barefoot Resort and Golf…just remember that your first time visit to a major charity tournament can be a bit overwhelming.

Endless Numbers of Spectators

There are many free samples given out, games for all ages, tents with food and beverages, professional golf players and lots of golf to watch. Whether you are there with family, friends, or for the participants, it is a guarantee you will lose them at least once, but, have no fear as police officers and event staff are very friendly and helpful to guide you in the right direction. The spectators came from all over the country.

Celebrities

MAM is a fundraiser tournament. It is more open to public players such as amateurs, football players, comedians, etc., with batches of professional golf players. Participants played in groups of 6 in a captain’s choice scramble style match. In addition to the participants, there were many well-known people on the course such as:

  • Roberto Diaz (Professional)
  • Joey Fatone (Musician)
  • Joel Murray (Actor)
  • Darius Rucker (Musician)
  • Paige Spiranac (Professional)

Food

There were tents filled with hot dogs, hamburgers, grilled chicken sandwiches, and much more! If you had VIP Passes, you could enjoy the many restaurants that were along the courses including sushi, steak, and BBQ. With the food comes all of the many thirst quenching beverages. There was plenty of water and Gatorade for all ages and furthermore, adult beverages for adults of course : )

To top off the day, Hootie and the Blowfish played at The House of Blues along with other guest appearances in a noteworthy set of performances. All-in-all it was a beautiful day full of sun, golf, and great friends. Here’s to hoping you remembered your sun screen and to MAM 2018!
