KELLY FISHER SHOBE

Kelly Fisher Shobe obtained a Masters of Education degree from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Health and Physical Education from Furman University in Greenville, SC. She is an associate professor for the University System of Georgia with Georgia State University for the Kinesiology and Health department. In addition to 24 years at the collegiate level, Kelly also has experience teaching various ages at Brandon Hall School (4th-12th grade) for three years in Dunwoody, GA and eight years at Parkview Christian School (K-8th), Lilburn, GA.

With a certification for instruction with the National Exercise Trainers Association, she has also served on the board for the Georgia Alliance of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and

Dance and annually presents seminars on fitness and nutrition to various groups such as: physical education teachers, personal trainers and fitness instructors.

By delivering golf-specific fitness training based on certification from Tour Golf Fitness and implementing fitness testing plus continued training plan review, Kelly provides the students with expertise and methods that are constantly updated with current ongoing research. Healthy nutrition is her other focus area for the students of Greg Norman Champions Golf Academy to ensure that each golfer is optimizing their full physical potential.
